Big Comic Book Update
Hi Guys,
I’m having a blast writing Deadpool with Brian Posehn. We’d been looking for something fun to work on since The Last Christmas debuted years ago. Marvel offered us the perfect thing to do together. Tony Moore, Val Staples, Jordan White, Geof Darrow and everybody at Marvel has made the gig a real joy.
Here’s are a few things that I hope you’ll be interested in:
In Early October, final orders for issue 1 will be due. Please tell your retailer that you want a copy. If you have a pull list - pull it. Please tell your retailer as soon as you can. If you don’t you might not find a copy when the comic ships. To find a comic shop near you go here.
October 11-14th I’ll be at New York Comic-Con. Image Comics is reprinting The Infinite Horizon and it will be available first at NY Comic Con. I’ll be signing all show long at booth K-1 with Rick Remender. There will hopefully/probably be a surprise at the show that I can’t talk about yet.
On November 7th the first highly collectible first issue of Deadpool arrives. You should buy, it read it, enjoy and please tell everyone you did.
On November 17th I’ll be at Third Eye Comics in Baltimore signing Deadpool # 1. The shop will have an exclusive variant cover by a really wonderful artist that I am not allowed to mention just yet.
On November 28th issue 2 arrives in stores & digitally to your whatevers. Please buy and enjoy that.
That’s it for the moment. I really do appreciate you checking out the comics I’m collaborating on. Deadpool and The Infinite Horizon don’t seem to share much in the way except my name on the front. The audience for one won’t necessarily gravitate towards the other, but the good news is that there’s something there for everyone perhaps.
And now, please enjoy this variant cover to issue 3 of Deadpool by Daniel Acuna via ComicBookResources.
