Shellac/Gel Manicure

Shellac manicures should have came out sooner.
So many girls have been damaging their nails 15+ years with acrylics just to have their polish last longer.

Abrassive filing and soaking will take a toll on your nail bed after time, but what is the point of having a natural nail service done if they do just as much damage.

I have been in two seperate salons in the past month that do gel manicures almost exactly as they do acrylic.

What’s sad is the client does not know better.

Ladies beware, when in a salon getting a gel manicure, make sure the technician does not use the drill, an acrylic buffer or bondaid etc on your nail bed.

Shellac should be applied after a COMPLETELY DRY manicur e(Yes, no water or cuticle cream) and 2-3 very thin coats of your gel polish applied. The manicure should never last less than 2-3 weeks.

I have used many of the gel products and the only ones I suggest to anyone are the CND Shellac and Gelish. The other brands are complete junk.
