I DECIDED TO PICK UP MY BRUSHES AND PAINT AGAIN. ☺

After thinking about what to do with my black canvas… Yes, I failed painting the misty forests and due to frustration I painted the whole thing black without thinking what to paint with it. Pretty smart huh. Well, I didn’t want to throw away or abandon the thing because from what I can remember the canvas itself cost me P100+ which was more than my newly bought brushes. So I googled some inspirations.

I ended up oggling with nebulas and galaxies. I first saw lookunderhere’s galaxy bandeau diy top. Then I looked for more diy’s in the net and stumble upon some gorgeous diy galaxy shoes particularly Vans shoes and Toms which were both canvas. Yes, canvas and I thought, hmm canvas?

I stared at my black canvas, pacing from the nebula I got from the internet and with everything set, my iPod shuffle, the water beside it, the brushes, the paint, I started working on it. I actually recorded the whole thing (you know me doing it) but I don’t know want to publish it. I’m shy. Lol. Anyway the whole process took me for about 40 minutes? Yes, 40 minutes something because I didn’t have any break whatsoever.

And here is the final product. ☺

Mind you, this was my first nebula painting and the nebula burst on the lower left corner looked like an ass, ugh! I know it’s not perfect but I did try my best besides this is going to be a gift afterall, for my Baby Marj! I hope she likes it. ☺

I plan on painting nebulas in the future (when I ended up not being lazy, lol). Especially now, that I realize I can do it! ☺
