"Can we be friends?"

I mean this in the most respectful way as possible, I myself see that friendship is something you gain throughout time and not something you ask for. You did that in kindergarden.

There are people who just click and instantly become friends. There’s a sort of chemistry between them and then there’s those no matter how much effort you put in doesn’t work at all.

That’s why I feel that friendship is something each of us must work for, to get to know each other first to see if they’re a match.

Don’t get me wrong I won’t ignore you or anything like that! I love to talk to new people. just the question itself is rather juvenile (=A=);
