In this turn of the century poster, a beautiful golden haired child opens a box of chocolats. Pained by french illustrator Leon Dupin (1898 - 1971) who created many iconic posters advertising french food and drink. It is hard to get a proper overview of Dupin’s life and work. Despite tales of his outgoing and friendly side he was also very secretive, it is said that even his wife did not know about all aspects of his career and training. Even his biography is mainly based on the memories of his family rather than fact.
