Congratulations To Charlie Davies On His Nuptials

Charlie Davies married his longtime sweetheart Nina Stavris on June 29. We hear that they have been romping around together since college dorm days.
Congratulations to Charlie Davies and Nina. We wish them the best.
Doing a bit of research we have located a few photographs from the wedding. A very fine looking wedding.
For all you ladies out there here is one photo including fellow USMNTers Oguchi Onyewu, Stu Holden, Alejandro Bedoya and Davies in robes as well as other unidentified males presumably in the wedding party.

And here is a shot of the wedding party with some random shirtless Boston Harbor jogger photobombing.

If you are interested in buying the happy couple a wedding gift they are registered at Bloomingdales.
Marseille turns & Maradona twists
Ancelotti arrived, and there was talk of Beckham; that mythological deity who so compels the masses to bow to his right foot – but he stayed in America. Paris Saint-Germain finished second in the league and, upon deciding that they would quite like to conquer Europe, have blown the transfer window, and AC Milan, apart. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will likely join Thiago Silva and Ezequiel Lavezzi in Paris before the new season begins. This is real. This is happening.
It was the Argentine’s arrival at the Parc de Princes that truly heralded the beginning of a new era in French football. Ancelotti was a coup – Roman Abramovich, if he ever feels anything other than overwhelming self-admiration, might regret sending the Italian on his way – but the acquisition of Lavezzi goes further. PSG have fast developed the swagger of a true European powerhouse. No longer is Javier Pastore a standalone marquee player – he will become one of many.
France, though, has seen this before; in the late 1980’s through to the early part of the next decade with Olympique de Marseille. They spent, they won, and they fell, though L’OM lit up the league and Europe previous to their eventual downfall.
