I have a good friend/co-worker who read “The Threshing Floor” and was severely disheartened to learn there were no prizes for Prompts in Panem. ;D (Not that I expected one, mind, but she really thought there should be winners!)
Not to mention, I’m delighted that someone “got” “porchwood, née Mejhiren.” ;D
I’ve always had me some Darius/Katniss feels so when I started reading FF I looked to see if there were any stories of them. I only found one and it ended with Gale and Darius together, so needless to say I was a little disappointed. I’m happy to see I’m not alone with my love for Darius.
Darius is woefully underrepresented in fanfiction, it breaks my heart. He has a good role in A Fine Line to Cross. And fnur purposefully threw him into Surviving Death just to fuck with me that little shit. I can’t really think of anything else that features him in more than just a mention. Anyone else know of things?
There is some extensive Katniss/Darius business in one of the stories my husband and I are working on. We also cast him as her first husband in the Gone with the Wind crossover we’re working on. HONESTLY I WILL JUST FIND ANY EXCUSE TO WRITE ABOUT HIM regardless of context. He even has an upcoming appearance in AiaCR.
