Who even wants flies?

So awesome blogger marfmellow just got an anon that stated,

You’re an incredibly rude and unpleasant person… You will catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

To which she replied,

I don’t want to catch flies?

And really, that’s a good fucking point. 

Why would marfmellow, or anyone for that matter, give a shit about someone who is nothing more than a pest?

Who WANTS flies?

You’re the ones buzzing around people whether they invite you or not. No matter how nice someone is, there are always going to be “flies” who land out of nowhere and shit all over everything.

Maybe people use vinegar because they don’t want asshole flies all over their space. 

Maybe the problem isn’t whether someone uses honey or vinegar. 

Maybe the problem is the incessant infestation of vile insects that causes people to use vinegar in the first place.

Catch more flies with honey? Sounds more like “appease complete assholes by being nice to them while they are oppressive jerks to you”.

I don’t fucking think so.
