Redglare vs Redglare: A Tale of Two Cosplays
So recently my friend and I both worked hard on making our first cosplays! She decided she wanted to be FLARP Terezi, and so we did a lot of research to figure out, well, how to make it.
And what we found out can basically simmer down to the fact that FLARP Terezi and Neophyte Redglare actually have a lot of small differences in their outfits. And also that canon is confusing.
So here is my breakdown of those differences!
FLARP Terezi Vest Pattern
This is basically how I made my pattern.
I’m not sure how to go about describing it, but surely this could help someone?

I’d never made a pattern before so it was an adventure and a lot of measuring!
Kind of goes along with this post!
My boots came in and I'm ready to FLARP! (An excuse to take more shitty phone pictures.)

They a bit darker than I had anticipated—you can’t tell in this one—and I need to stretch them up a bit more when I’m all decked out in gray paint and horns because they really, really look like Vriska’s God Tier ones. (I think her FLARPer ones as well, but I can’t remember off hand.)
Please try to ignore my floor. It’s dirty and I don’t feel like cleaning. Ever.

L3TS FL4RP! >:]

Better view of my boots. Holy shit my garbage can is overflowing with Lysol wipes.

Supposed to be like one of the pictures by Hussie’s art team, but I couldn’t get it with my phone. I’m too embarrassed to be like, “Mom, take pictures of my cosplay!” so, I have to take them.
I swear I had better poses here, but I can’t hold my phone properly. But yeah, I think I can call FLARPer Terezi DONE, with just over a month to spare.
