“I don't go to a fitness center. I play drums and that's all. Rehearsals take all my free time. ”

Shannon Leto.

Worked out yesterday

Did about 8K on the bike (5 miles), lifted heavier and more than I usually do, walked and swam.

The last few days I haven’t been keeping track of my food, but I’m working on it<3

HOTELS SHOULDN'T ADVERTISE FITNESS CENTERS IF IT'S JUST A TREAD MILL AND A ELLIPTICAL.

So disappointing. BOTH WERE BROKEN TOO.

The thread mill was stuck on an insane incline and the elliptical was so freaking jerky.

My cousin and I did a lot of floor exercises and cardio kickboxing, so I got my 45 minutes in. c:

Now to eat a tangerine, shower, snuggle into my hotel bed, and play pocket frogs. c:

How Much Would You Pay to Work Out?

Palmer House Fitness Center

I’m in Chicago this week on business. When I’m in the Windy City, I usually stay at the Palmer House.  It’s close to Lake Michigan and I like to run to Navy Pier and back.

Today, it’s snowing in Chicago and I didn’t bring any outdoor running gear.  Unfortunately, the Fitness Center in the Palmer House (pictured above) isn’t free (unless you have Diamond status with Hilton).  The charge is $5 per day, which I think is very reasonable for a good fitness facility with a pool.

How much would you pay to use a fitness center for a day?  What is your favorite hotel fitness center in Chicago or elsewhere?  Tell me in the comments.
