A beautiful thing just happened.
I was registering as sole trader on the HMRC website so that I pay the right amount of National Insurance and taxes etc. It’s quick and easy and just lots of fields to fill in.

Then something caught my eye.

Curious, I clicked on the question mark next to the drop down list to find out more.

IS THIS QUESTION ABOUT WHETHER I’M ELIGIBLE FOR FISHING BOAT PROCEEDS? I THINK IT IS. I AM AN ADULT! I AM AN ADULT!

“In my opinion, our obsessive focus on virginity and sexual purity doesn’t serve anyone. Losing one’s virginity is not an event; it’s a process. Similarly, weddings are events, and signing your marriage license is an event, but marriages are not events. They are processes. So no, I don’t think it’s inherently wrong to have sex before marriage, because I don’t know what sex means, and I don’t know what marriage means. I think people should feel empowered to make their own decisions about their own bodies in thoughtful and open conversations with their romantic partners. And use condoms. The End.”
—John GreenWhen I’m trying to explain to a friend who hasn’t read the fault in our stars how I feel about the fault in our stars. I start to say it’s like how Hazel Grace feels about An Imperial Affliction and that it is her book and nobody else can read it. But then I stop because I realise that AIA is a fictional book and they have no idea who Hazel Grace is. I then have absolutely no way of explaining it to them because TFIOS is just to perfect to sum up in words other than it’s own.
