The one thing I like most thus far about The Future Past DLC is that it feels like it holds that sense of story telling vibe the previous FEs gave out in droves.

I like the first generation/the “adults” and certain characters/personalities, I do… but I’m finding myself more interested and drawn into the perspective of the kids and from the one when the Future is near a literal inch of all natural life going (to use Yarne’s word) extinct.

Owain and Inigo especially stood out in this level as we saw more to both than their usual behavior and I wish they’d behaved as they did in that chapter for the entire game.

The thing is that without never having seen the game from the view of the first generation, I might not be curious about the second. So it’s a funny irony.

The DLC was worth it. If you haven’t bought it, do it. If you haven’t played it, play it.
