Filipino films: they don’t make us think
getrealphilippines.comBeing a BIG movie fan literally and seriously, I have to say everything written on this article s very true. I have to salute Ilda, the writter of this article. I mean lets not talk about the visual effects and stuff, and take off the thought that MMFF is only made para kumita ng money, ALMOST ALL FILIPINO FILMS have poor people getting bullied by rich people and in the end magkakabati na sila, whats the point? I mean Filipino films of our generation has no sense at all and If indie films weren’t there I think I will totally loose hope for our movie industry. WALA AKONG KA AMOR AMOR sa Pinoy Films ngayon puro Love Story, puro gaya from other countries, puro sequel, pre-quel, remake. I mean I quote ” Movies should reflect our culture” where’s the culture in all of that? huh?
