Do I feel there’s stuff I missed out on now that I’ve heard about it? Naturally, that’s going to happen in a group of 600+ people. But the regrets are enormously outweighed by the good memories and, in the end, they don’t make me feel that I wasn’t a part of something brilliant. I love you all.
I just want to thank everyone who offered kind words and sent good vibes regarding the situation with my sister-in-law. you don’t know how much your reassurances helped.
and to fleetofships for having a questionable text conversation with me and making me laugh. you might not have known I was freaking out, but talking about your Benedict anniversary instead eased my mind ;)

Holy crap!
Salsa Juice:
- 4 roma tomatoes
- 1 cucumber
- 1 lime
- 2 green onions
- 1/2 jalapeno, sans seeds & top
- 3 large handfuls of spring mix
- 1/2 bunch of cilantro
Yields roughly 800mL.
Seriously life-changing. I blend the greens, cilantro, onion, and jalapeno first, and then let the tomato and lime and cucumber wash it through the juicer. Chill it and try not to drown yourself with how fast you’ll want to chug it. I’m in love.

DRAFTING IS SO HARD. I used to pre-tear even strips of roving so I could spin longer without pretending I had any control over it. But I was still better with a drop spindle than my spinning wheel. That shit is HARD.
actually though. I decided to try spinning after watching a couple videos on youtube of people using spinning wheels and then drop spindles. As someone who’s just starting out I’m just doing the spin, park, draft, let twist travel up, repeat method and from how little control I have over the drafting doing that people can continuously spin without having to park the spindle all the time???? And then level up from that where the wheel is just CONSTANTLY SPINNING????
Practice makes perfect I guess? and I’m planning on going to a class once summer starts so maybe I’ll be able to learn tips/tricks from actual people then.
WEEP. Honestly, the only thing I remember ingesting large quantities of when I was in London was wine… But i will eat ANYTHING you bring! Are paprika pringles a thing there or are those just in Italy??
