I figured out the definitive test for a Fake Geek Girl!

Guys, if you’re at a con and see what you think is a Fake Geek Girl, there’s an easy way to tell if she is—simply ask her for a date!  The Fake Geek Girl will always say Yes, since her whole purpose is to catch the eye of a coveted Real Geek Boy!

The females who are real geeks will always say No.  Always.  Trust me on this.  So, once she says No, you’re free to talk to her like you would to any other geek…if she hasn’t edged away (or flat-out punched you.)
