“We met a people who loved it when it was said to them 'Fear Allaah the Most High'. Today you find that people only become annoyed at this.”

Sufyan At-Thawri (rahimahullah) [Characteristics of the Salaf, by Shaykh Ahmad Fareed, Pp. 75-76]

Some things on this site really sadden me. What really bothers me is when I see people get flirtatious anons. Don’t you know even tho the receiver doesn’t know who you are, Allah is still watching you and knows exactly who you are. What are you going to gain by sending those types of messages? Seriously tho…

May Allah guide us all. Ameen ya Rabb

فَلاَ تَخْشَوُا النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِ

“So (do) not fear the people but fear Me,”

Surah al-Ma’idah: 44

“The sins that you do in private kills the heart more than the sins that you do in public, because it means that you value the eyes of the people more than you value the sight of Allah. You are more worried about people catching you sinning than Allah seeing you." ”

—Ibn Qudamah

“ Fear of Allah is the final result of knowledge.”

—Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as)

“O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.”

—Surat al-Hashr (59:18)

FEAR ALLAH WHEREVER YOU ARE.

On the authority of Abu Dhar Jundub ibn Junaadah and Abu Abdir-Rahmaan Mu’aadh ibn Jabal (رضى الله عنهم) that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said:

“Fear Allaah wherever you are. Follow up the bad deed with the good one it will wipe it out. Behave with the people with good manners.”

(Narrated by at-Tirmidhee and he said the narration is Hasan and in some of the copies of at-Tirmidhee Hasan Saheeh)

“The most hated speech to Allah is when a man says to another man: ‘Fear Allah!’ and he replies: ‘Worry about your own self!’”

—It was reported by Al-Asbahaanee in At-Targheeb (#739), and Sheikh Albani authenticated it in Silsilatul-Ahaadeethis-Saheehah (#2598)

I do not understand women who would sacrifice their daily prayers for the amount of make up on their faces.

I mean, really,

“uhm, it’s hard to wash off my make-up in public”

“oh i’ll just pray when i reach home”(which would be late)

“i’ll need to reapply my make-up afterwards, which would be tedious”

Guys really now? Is your make-up more VALUABLE THAN JANNATUL FIRDAUS?

Why are we spending so much money and time on make-up in the first place? How can we put ourselves so low to the extent where our appearance in front of people becomes way more important than our appearance in front of Allah azza wa jal??

May Allah guide us.

Assalamualaikum

Ya akhawat fillah,

We are sinner and all of us are trying to be a better muslims. We reblogged all the islamic quotes, the beautiful ayah from the Quran, and the hadiths of the Prophet sallahu alaihi wasallam for our reflections and reminders. But then we mixed those holy things with shameless pictures? Tell me are you serious putting those hugging pictures between man and woman in your blog? i don’t really care if it was from Gossip Girl, Glee, Vampire Diaries, any Korean movies or Malay movies or whatsoever. are you serious? let’s make this thing clear. For every post we posted or reblogged all will be accounted on the Day of Judgement. Just for once, let us think and reflect. once we reblogged, and other person saw and reblogged it again we are taking part in the sins. Astagfirullah. and trust me, those pictures doesn’t help to make your blog more interesting or attractive or what.

I am not saying this because of hate. i say this because i believe reminders always benefit the believers. May Allah forgive our sins and may He guard our hearts from shamelessness ameen.
