When I finished reading John Green’s ‘The Fault In Our Stars’, i wrote a song about it - i’m not sure the song will ever get finished, or if i’ll ever do anything with it, i just wanted to write it. So rather than it rotting on my computer, i thought i’d upload it here. Hope you guys like it.

WARNING: QUITE LITERAL LYRICS. **POTENTIAL SPOILERS**

LYRICS:

The weight, of a simple human emotion

Weighs me down, more than the tank ever did

The pain, It’s determined and demanding

To ache, but I’m okay.

I don’t want to let this go

I don’t want to lose control

I just want to see the stars

With You

And I don’t want to say good bye

Someone tell me why

I just want to see the stars

With You

You lost, a part of your existance

In the war, against yourself

The lights, they lit up in lights of sadness

Telling you, ‘It’s time to go.’

(BRIDGE - unrecorded)

Don’t give it up just yet

Stay grand for just one more minute

Okay?

I don’t want to let this go

I don’t want to lose control

I just want to see the stars

With You

And I don’t want to say good bye

Someone tell me why

I just want to see the stars

With You

“It would be a privilege to have my heart broken by you.”
