Okay, nobody seems to be talking about this...
so I decided to a little review on the last trailer for the pikachu short with eevee and friends.
There isn’t any new clear information on it but they gave some hints of something, I believe.
Firstly, Sylveon appears showing all it’s grace, swinging his scarf-like thingy
“I’m real cute”
Soon after Meowth appears, loving like a love song, baby
That could be a hint Sylveon is really a female only eevolution, since Meowth is male and straight (am I even real) and tend to fall for other cutish pokémon along the way.
And then this shit happens
*Sylveon shining bright like a diamond
and opening mother fucking portals or something. What’s even happening here? I don’t know but they seem to be really happy about it
This scene raises so many questions. What kind of pokémon can do stuff like this? All we can take from it is that Sylveon can get really bright and stuff. I mean…
and that’s not even something we could work with. We can’t take very much from this screen shots other than a fucking light new type. I mean, look at this last pic:
Again, all the eevolutions have a frame that suggests their own types, but sylveon is like “fuck that. Imma be in a egg shaped shit and call it a day”. There is this little wing-like shape that could suggest it’s flying type too, which is my personal bet until now (even though everything about sylveon screams something very different from that)
But the mystery is only getting bigger and bigger so Nintendo gets a 10 out of 10 for being such a bitch at raising speculations.
Counting the days for October. This is gonna be a hell of a new generation.

My Japanese is bad, but it seems as though they changed the voice to fit Mewtwo’s role in the movie. They tout that it focuses on the friendship of Ash/Mewtwo/Genesect to show the relationship of humans and Pokemon, which makes sense because in what I’ve read of the manga Ash was trying to befriend one of the Genesect, I think it’s saying something like the change was to reflect that understanding(or misunderstanding) with Mewtwo.
