UPDATED INFORMATION ON EXPLOSIONS IN BOSTON 5:40PM EST

There is a lot of information on Tumblr right now that is outdated or completely wrong so here is some updated information as well as links to keep you guys updated. PLEASE REBLOG THIS.

DO NOT USE YOUR MOBILE PHONES IF YOU ARE DOWNTOWN. IT COULD SET OFF OTHER DEVICES.

So far there have been three explosions; two near the finish line in Copley and one near the JFK Library (which may or may not be related to the other two explosions). Stay off Beacon Street.

The train is not functioning inbound towards Government Center but the outbound trains are working to get people out of downtown.

Mass General and Brigham are the most active hospitals right now. If you or someone you know needs help, get him/her there immediately.

Relatives of people who may be missing in the area can call the mayor’s hotline at 617-635-4500.

Anyone who has information about the bombings or saw anything suspicious can call 1-800-494-TIPS.
