“The interesting thing about this song is it’s the saddest song I’ve ever written. I use to cry a lot when I was a kid and I probably stopped crying around like early high school. That’s kinda when you get ashamed of crying and you wanna be tough, you wanna start wearing cool clothes, blah, blah, blah, and you care about what your friends think a lot.

When we wrote this song and we were done with the album, I was driving around in the car and I listened to the whole album, this is the last song on the album.

I think it was that night, or one other night, and I was alone thank god, and I just started bawling.

It was the first time in a long time that I’ve cried, and that makes me really proud to have written this song because crying is an important thing in someones life. You feel much better after you cry.”
