True beauty: Euler's Identity

This expression is often referred to by mathematicians as the most beautiful expression in mathematics. It takes the most seemingly unrelated constants and unifies them into this one simple answer. Just try to imagine the complexity of these constants and their relation to one another. We have the transcendental number e to the power of the imaginary unit i multiplied by the transcendental number pi. The proof for this is very long and I will not attempt to write it in this post. This is something that should appeal to mathematicians and philosophers alike. The interaction of real and imaginary numbers coming together to produce a real result.
