ALASTOR MOODY'S TIMELINE: 1889 - PRESENT

A timeline in which we discover the following:

  • Moody is Half-Belgian
  • Moody was not named after his father
  • His mother was a reporter for the Daily Prophet
  • One possible reason why Dumbledore chose him to co-head the Order
  • How Moody virtually didn’t exist during the first five years of his life
  • How Moody wasn’t inspired by his father to become an Auror, but by his aunt, Magda, who I originally depicted in Moody’s application to be disapproving and slightly batty, but who actually is a pretty badass lady who outlasted two world wars and was probably amongst the first witches  who ever became Aurors (bc I imagine in the early twentieth century even witches didn’t have a break) and had a hand in making Moody the way he is today ok.
