i want the bunker to become a drop-in home for all hunters a la the roadhouse or bobby’s but people exchange information there and sam writes it all down to carry on the man of letters’ work and dean goes about setting all of john’s diary onto paper to make a sort of hunters manual and sometimes hunters drop by and dean cooks for everyone (especially krissy and kevin but krissy always mocks him for acting too much like a protective dad) and whenever linda’s around she teaches him how to prepare certain foods and even brings round a few pies and charlie sets up a sort of hunter network and enables portable wifi or something so that they’re always able to contact each other and jodi drops in to check on the boys and she always ends up talking about bobby with dean and sam and cas visits a lot (until he ends up staying for good) and every time he brings a gift (never wrapped) because he’s under the impression that house warming gifts are given every time you visit someones new house and dean just laughs and claps him on the back and cas joins them for dinner and sometimes dean just sits and thinks about the makeshift family they’ve made after everything they’ve been through. and he smiles.
dean showing cas that he has his own room in the bunker and cas smiles and sits on the bed and looks around and dean should be going to his room instead of hovering at the door and cas asks if everything’s ok and dean tells cas it’d be better if he slept in deans room the first few nights (for CAS’ benefit ofc) but then weeks pass and dean still says no next week and slowly all of cas’ stuff (his new clothes and all his new stuff) slowly moves to deans room and cas’ room is left unused and cas never wears his new clothes anyway cos he likes dean’s better and dean gets a little possessive thrill seeing cas in his clothes and ALL THE DOMESTICITY
