Fresh off of the back of her Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy win for her role as Alicia in The Good Wife, Julianna Margulies has revealed what fans can expect from her character in the new season. Julianna admits that Alicia is set to show a darker side of herself.
Margulies explained, “I think there’s a little bit of venom in her this year that you’ve never seen before. A little bit of spite. A little darker. She definitely won’t be the doormat people can walk over this season. She played all the rules by the book, and that didn’t work, so she’s taking a new lease on life now, and seeing things from a different point of view.”
Julianna Margulies has been playing Alicia in The Good Wife since 2009 has won a Golden Globe and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, as well as her recent Emmy. The new season of The Good Wife premiered on Sunday and will air every Sunday night on CBS.

The Big Bang Theory’s Emmy Award winning actor Jim Parsons has revealed exactly what it is that he likes the most about his character Sheldon Cooper. Jim admitted that he likes the fact that Sheldon is a guy who sticks to his guns, no matter what the situation.
Parsons explained, “I feel like Sheldon seems to approach every situation by trying to figure out the scientific nature of things. I like how his scientific reasoning so frequently doesn’t work in the real world when he’s dealing with Penny or when he’s out in a restaurant but he sticks to his guns. I really like that about him. He’s very sure of himself in a lot of ways and I think that’s very neat.”

The Good Wife actress Julianna Margulies has revealed what fans of the show can expect to see in the upcoming new season of the show. Julianna particular spoke about the premiere of the new season, admitting that she has told her husband not to watch it.
Margulies explained that the steaminess of the opener might be a little to much for him to handle. She said, “There’s a very steamy scene and it’s a bit steamy, I have to say. I think you can see a butt, but I don’t know if you can see a whole butt. It might just be too steamy.”
Julianna Margulies has been nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Emmy Award for the past two seasons, thanks to her portrayal of Alicia Florrick in the show. The Good Wife season premiere is set to air on September 25.
