My Girl (Song For Emma)
BroheiBubbles and I are on a roll! This time we both rewrote Mad World (my cover is based on Adam Lambert’s cover, and Bubbles favored the Gary Jules cover) because we were inspired by a certain HiJack music video.
In the midst of writing my version of Bubbles’ concept, I had a sudden thought about Emma—you know, Jack’s little sister. The Adam Lambert version of Mad World makes me imagine water a lot of the time, so the very next thing one thinks of when Jack Frost and water imagery are concerned is Jack’s lost memories.
This song is heavily influenced by an RP thread I had with this really spectacular Emma RPer. She was also the very first person I RP’d Rise of The Guardians with, so this song is actually dedicated to her. <3
