Happy birthday, Eminem
To someone I’ve known since I was 5, and loved since I was 12. To someone I would have imploded without knowing his music, I’m glad you’ve made it to 40. To someone who almost overdosed, but managed to overcome his drug addiction and get back into his music. You’ve made my life easier in some ways, you’ve made me think more. You’re musics made me cry. You’ve helped me overcome things in my life that’s really killed a part inside of me. You saved me from myself, you’ve saved me from feeling completely alone. You’re music has been something that has finally let me let some things go, and express my emotions when I just can’t. In “Sing for the Moment,” one of your last lines says, “That’s why we sing for these kids, who don’t have a thing. Except for a dream, and a fuckin’ rap magazine, who post pin-up pictures on their walls all day long, Idolize they favorite rappers and know all they songs. Or for anyone who’s ever been through shit in their live, till they sit and they cry at night wishin’ they’d die. Till they throw on a rap record and they sit, and they vibe We’re nothin’ to you but we’re the fuckin’ shit in they eyes.”
At one point in my life, that line gave me hope. That kept me going when I wanted to die from the pain in my heart and the trouble going on in my family. I’m so much better now, thanks to God, and thanks to your lyrics which gave me comfort in my hard time. And I know there’s so many other people you’ve saved and helped. You’re my hero. ♥

I have already started putting together a video that I will tweet and send and try hard to make sure gets noticed, so all you have to do is message me a paragraph or link a YouTube or other format video to me through my ask box or email (ask me for my email and I will give it to you!) and I will put it in the video. HAPPY 39TH BIRTHDAY TO THE GREATEST MAN/RAPPER TO EVER LIVE, EMINEM!
i know this may sound corny, but Eminem has changed my life in many ways. I feel like he has done so much for me without even directly interfering/helping. I love his music so much, and it has helped me in so much. When I’m having a shitty day I listen to his songs and they make me feel better. I know that it’s going to be okay and worrying about everything is pointless. Eminem saved my life amazingly once, and I truly believe that his music is the reason I’m still here. I suffer from moderate depression, meaning when things seem really really hard, or I am feeling sorry for myself which happens once a month or once every 2 months, I feel like there is no point to living. I ponder why I’m here, and feel like dying would just solve everything. I’ve only attempted suicide once, but thoughts have crossed my mind more than once. When I get in these moods I go get my iPod and put Eminem’s song on shuffle. I begin to feel a lot better, and I know everything will be okay. It’s sort of my therapy I guess you could say. Anyway I just wanted to wish a Happy Birthday to the G.O.A.T. Eminem, I can’t even begin to tell you how much you and your music means to me. I love you man.
