Well first of all, its great so far.
Second, the performances have been phenomenal, but I almost wet my pants when Elle Varner performed Only WannaGive It to You! She is easily one of my new favorite artists’. Her soulful voice and hipster mixed with hip hop vibes give her a style unique to today’s female music game.
Third, the purpose of this award show is truly amazing. I’ve never heard of the organization Black Girls Rock until I started seeing commercials for the award show and the woman that are honored are inspirational and the role models this generation needs.
I’m going to keep this in my DVR for a few more days.
