So I dressed as the Eleventh Doctor today on 11/11

Which is something I find incredibly funny for some reason…

Anyway. I did that and showed up in my bowtie and tweed and all that because it’s comic con day at my school. However since it’s the USA people kept asking what I was supposed to be and I just was like:

Or then there were the beautiful people who looked me up and down and went “Bowties are cool.”

So that showed me that I’m not as alone as I thought I was. However, my friend betrayed me by looking at me for two seconds and then going, “I hate Matt Smith, David Tennant was so much better.”

Actually no, he’s still my friend, and I do admit that David is freakishly amazingly awesome. To be honest, I still don’t know whether I prefer Ten over Eleven or vice versa. Still,

I dressed up as the Eleven Doctor, aka Matt Smith.

I... just... need... suspenders and a bowtie.... and then I will be complete!

Eleven’s original costume. When Matt Smith was first cast, they designed a snazzy little blue pirate outfit for him. I LOVED it.

Getting ready to go to a Halloween party for my school’s drama club.  I’m going as the eleventh doctor (because I don’t have anything I can use for ten).

I can feel the awkward moment coming when no one gets my Doctor Who costume. I’ll just look like a woman dressed up as an elderly college professor.. Or Bill Nye the Science Guy. It reminds of the one year I wore my moms EMT uniform and everyone thought I was a mailman.
