Went to the Soil and Puddle of Mudd gig tonight.
14th October 2011. Electric Ballroom, Camden.
Ryan McCombs has reunited with Soil. First gig he’s played with the band since he left to join Drowning Pool. He (with the rest of Soil) were epic. Hearing all the old Soil songs live is just thrilling.
One fan threw his prosthetic leg up on the stage and Ryan decided the best thing to do in this situation was to down a shot of Jagermeista from it. Brilliant.
But what was really a touching moment was at the end of the gig. Ryan just sat on the stage looking out to the crowd, who were chanting “Soil” and you can tell that he missed that and is happy he’s back.
What an amazing night!
I got to touch - practically stroke - Ryan McCombs arm too. ^_^
