“The problem is that you don’t just choose recovery. You have to keep choosing recovery, over and over and over again. You have to make that choice 5-6 times each day. You have to make that choice even when you really don’t want to. It’s not a single choice, and it’s not easy.”

Carrie’s Blog Post

•do not make jokes about eating disorders

•do not comment on the calorie content of someones food

•do not comment on how much someone eats

•do not joke about someones weight

•do not talk proudly about starving yourself

Your silly little comments and attempts to be funny can offend someone that’s suffering or trigger a problem that wasnt previously there.

friendly reminder that no one cares about your body as much as you do~ [so stop obsessing] (✿◠‿◠) (◉‿◉✿)(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat. Full does not mean fat.

I don’t need to be thin to be happy. I don’t need to be fit to be happy.

What I need is to accept myself and feel confident no matter how I look, what I wear and how much I ate.

friendly reminder that your body is a small aspect of your whole being and that you are comprised of so much more than how you look in the mirror~(✿◠‿◠) (◉‿◉✿)(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ

just a friendly reminder as you’re taking your finals

you need to eat more

your brain needs food to function too

so while you’re working harder to finish up the schoolyear, don’t feel bad or even surprised if you’re snacking more than usual! you need it!

Does anyone else feel like they never existed before their ED? Like you’ve literally only been alive since it started and that you’ve been reincarnated and sometimes get flashbacks of your past life (pre-ED).
Because i literally can’t remember myself before this happened, like what the hell did i think about when food/ED wasn’t on my mind every second of the day?

every meal and snack i eat brings me closer to:

  • happiness
  • freedom
  • self-love
  • self-confidence
  • meaningful connections with others
  • health
  • life

I just want you all to know that no matter how hard it gets,

No matter how much you want to cry or scream or give up,

No matter how many times you do cry or scream or give up,

There are people out here who will pick you right back up if you need us to.

And remember;

No matter how many times those voices say you are weak for trying to leave them behind,

You get stronger every time you ignore them. You are a fighter, and you will win.
