Beirut - East Harlem

It’s unlikely that by writing this post, I’m introducing many of you to Beirut or even this track. Zach Condon’s band has an already established reputation. It doesn’t hurt that Condon’s voice is immediately recognizable.

I’ve now listened to the whole album three times through and it feels like a long-overdue homecoming. I love the way in which every sound feels the same and envelopes you but you also know that it’s all different and new.
