Ears.

I just have to constantly remind myself that I am meant to just be ears, not a mouth with a voice.
I can’t have a voice, I can’t have an opinion, I can’t have a say in any matters that don’t pertain to me.
I can’t have feelings, I can’t have any emotion. I can’t have any reaction towards anything that doesn’t pertain to me.
No matter how small, no matter how subtle.
My job is to only act as ears.
Nothing else.
But I’m too stupid and just always seem to forget that.
I’m too stupid and just always seem to complain about what happens, when I shouldn’t be very much surprised.
