Dr. Sullivan, before mysteriously disappearing at the end of PLL episode 2.11, kept reviewing her patients’ files, searching for major hints. And — OMG — this smarty pants shrink uncovered some legit details on A after connecting the dots.
Here’s what she learned:
- A is one of her patients.
- A (apparently) began visiting a therapist before the Liars did (and was either born in 1994 or began therapy sessions in 1994).
- A was being treated for “overpowering feelings of revenge” and “anger management.”
- A doesn’t ever have a single suicidal thought. A prefers thinking about killing others.
- A thinks it’s his/her job to “police.”
- A monitors all activity in the neighborhood.
- A refers to unnamed adversaries as “nosey bitches.”
Suspicious Dr Sullivan?
I am pretty sure I am not the only one who feels like there is something wrong with her, especially since after she went missing and magically came back thanks to Toby.
In Will the Circle be Unbroken, she acted more suspicious than ever before to me, especially because of one specific question

.Honestly, try to think about a similar situation. A friend tells you they saw their lover dead and looks rather affected by it. First off, my instinct tells me I might ask “Are you sure it was him?” but in no way would I see myself ask “BTW, did you see his face?” Unless you know more about what happened to your friend’s lover…
I do believe Dr Sullivan knows where Toby is, which is why she looks surprised, yet not really shocked, when Spencer tells her about finding Toby in the forest. That’s also why she asks this very specific question even though she already knows the answer.
Now, what is Sullivan’s link to the A Team, or more specifically Toby? Does Mona still blackmail her somehow? Does she use her to keep Toby away? So many questions and so little answers! That’s what I love about this show!
What do you think, liars? :)
How did Dr Sullivan know?
During the last episode (Will the circle be unbroken?), were me and my sister the only ones who noticed that when Dr Sullivan walked into Radley to assess ‘Jane Doe’ (Spencer) she automatically said “Spencer” when she had only seen the back of her head. As Radley named Spencer ‘Jane Doe’ and they thought she had amnesia, they clearly didn’t know who Spencer was so when they called Dr Sullivan to come in to assess her. So why would Dr Sullivan assume that Spencer was Spencer? There were loads of other girls in that room who looked like Spencer from behind and Spencer’s hair isn’t normally curly like that, so why would Dr Sullivan think it was Spencer?
The A-team must of known that Spencer was in Radley and we already know that Dr Sullivan knows about -A, so could it be possible that -A sent her there to find out about what Spencer knows about the woods? Or could Dr Sullivan be connected to -A?
Send in your thoughts and theories on this and if you have any questions, then just ask us them!!
