Well if ectoplasm is weightless and his blood is half ectoplasm, he would get lighter automatically? also if the ghost genes has imprinted in his human form (that's why he can get intangible and invisible in that form too) it means his cells (?) are half ectostuff too?? so he should be 1/4 lighter than normal I think, but that means also that his ghost half is 1/4 heavier than a normal ghost? (1/4 bc if he is half half but needs to switch between forms he would be 1/4 ghost in his human form)

I always pictured that he was the son of a long running circus. Since Freakshow said that, for generations, his “family has controlled ghosts” with the crystal ball staff to “entertain the masses.” Though, I imagine it was a “catch and release” method for every show.
This way, little Frederich Isak Showenhower grew up with ghosts all the time, perhaps starting his ghost envy at an early, yet mild, stage. He developed a love for the bizarre and abnormal. He met Lydia over their love of the same music and thus fell in love themselves, despite Lydia being an older woman. They got engaged after some time, and she decided to join the circus since Frederich was inheriting it.
However, after dying during an act, Freakshow loses the one thing in his life that mattered most. Lydia dies of a broken neck. He tries to commit suicide to join his beloved but Lydia comes back as a ghost to stop him. It hurts her to speak, due to the memories of her death, but she will talk to him when he needs it the most. He researches all ghostly artifacts extensively to find a means to bring Lydia back to life. He finds out about the Reality Gauntlet, a gauntlet that could perhaps bend his reality so that Lydia were alive again. But over the years he goes mad. He ages while she does not. He’s becoming far older than her now. He’s so far gone that by the time he does get his hands on the Gauntlet, Lydia’s life is no longer his first priority. His ghost envy has warped his mind into thinking that Lydia was always a ghost. In fact, he even turns himself into a ghost before the thought of bringing her back could even resurface. He wants to be with his Lydia forever.

DP Headcanon
The ghost zone is just the middle ground between heaven and hell. Which is where all the lost souls go, and there are a LOT of lost souls in the ghost zone. Which is why there are both good and bad ghosts residing there.
Since the Ghost zone is the equivalent to our human existence on earth to a degree, those who are part of the ghost zone probably have a certain tie to earth somehow and are just stuck. Which is maybe why they are able to go from the ghost zone to earth so easily.
Heaven and Hell arent accessible through the ghost zone, there isnt a special door that can just open. Heaven and Hell can only be accessed through certain portals in the ghost zone that are almost impossible to open by anyone from the ghost zone.
Jack Frost and danny phantom are flying fast and racing for the hell of it. Jack cuts danny off and he’s left all windswept and rolling backwards in the air. Danny thinks about messing him up with his ghost powers but instead he goes to get a coffee because he can. Jack places ice every other step that danny takes and just makes him slip because dont ignore him u dumb. Constant harassment for both parties all the time could you imagine the shenanigans they would get up to
