Everyone’s saying how horrible it would be if The Doctor’s memories of Rose were eaten. Or Amy or Rory or River.
But what would be the worst would be if he forgot Donna.
Because Donna can’t remember him. Apart from in the places they visited together, it;s really only The Doctor and Wilf who remember how spectacular, how important Donna is.
And I don’t want to say anything, but Wilf’s getting old.
And if the Doctor’s forgotten, then there’s nobody left to remember the real Donna.
And if nobody remembers something, does it really exist?
I’m saw a lot of similarities between today’s ep (The Rings of Akhaten) and a mixture of ‘Turn Left’ and ‘The Fires of Pompeii’. Like the red outfits reminded me of FoP and when Clara started eating the exotic fruits, it made me think of when Donna ate that white thing in a cone before seeing the creepy beetle lady in TL.
