Iraq was destroyed over false allegations of WMDs.

However you feel about the Iraq War, or Saddam Hussein - imagine losing your parents over a false claim. Growing up with your life literally in shambles over a false claim. Losing your home over a false claim.

Muslims without Borders (Rutgers University chapter) is hosting a banquet to raise money for the orphans of Iraq. 100% OF THE PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO THEM, so if you can’t make it to RU on April 15th, donate HERE

EVERY LAST CENT COUNTS! You would spend a dollar on a donut or a pack of gum. You would spend $3 on coffee or a bagel, or $5 for Subway. You can spare pocket change, at the very least, for the orphans of Iraq.

Okay this is not a scam I need you all to help. If a picture of a cute boy can 2,000 notes this needs to get just as much

Today a tornado hit Moore, OK. As of now, 24 children were killed at a school. I don’t know how many more causalities there are but help is needed. If you could please take a second and make a donation that would be wonderful. If you can’t make the donation let’s just get this circulating so followers can see.

Send your love.

Namaste,

WRL

HELP MY MUM! IF WE COULD MAKE FLUFFY CHICKEN HAPPEN THIS IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE

Ok guys, I don’t know how to go about this

image

This is my brother’s car after he had an accident last Saturday. Thankfully, he suffered no injuries and the damage on the car is relatively minor. However, minor means that repairing it will cost just over 2,000€

And as many young people that live alone, my brother just doesn’t have that money. Additionally, next month he has to pay the car insurance which will probably be around 400€.

And so my mum decided to help him out. She will pay his insurance and will help with at least half of the repair bill (I suspect more, but she won’t tell me). I know that in many families that would be it, she would help him and probably little by little he would pay it back. But my mum really does need that money in a relatively short time, and I’m not sure how can my brother give anything back to her any time soon, taking into account what little money he has.

This is why I, although I have no right to ask anything from anyone, I come here on Tumblr to ask you guys for your help. My mum is going to take her theory exam for her driving license next week, and after that she will have to spend quite a lot of money on her practical lessons. If you’re wondering why doesn’t she have a driving license already and why it is important now, I’ll tell you that my mum has ALWAYS given up anything to herself to make sure my brother and I never lacked any basic stuff. She married young and she had to make sure my father didn’t drink or gambled all the money away so we could have a home, eat and all the essential things. And when she got separated from my dad she never got any money for us from him (even when he won some 20,000 € on the lottery). For as long as I can remember she has worked long night shifts in shitty jobs and for our sake she has denied herself a lot of things, and she barely had any life at all except for working and being with us.

Now that my brother and I both have jobs and that we don’t depend on her that much, she had managed to save some money and decided to get a driving license at last. Because having a car would mean having more job options on relatively close places that however are very badly connected by public transport.

I know that a lot of us are broke. I know that there are people who have much more important needs and that probably deserve more help than I do. But it makes me so sad that she can never have anything for herself. I love my mum so much and I owe her all the opportunities I’ve had in my life and I hate not being able to do much for her in this situation. So I can only hope for some Tumblr miracle. If any of you would feel inclined to help me with this, you can donate to my paypal account laiacasta@hotmail.com (I am just completely useless and I can’t figure how to get a donate button on my blog ugh) And if you can’t donate PLEASE REBLOG, you never know who might want to help!

Whatever amount of money you guys helped me collect would go entirely to my mum, no matter how little that was.

And because I feel my gratitude wouldn’t be enough, but I’m not one of those amazing people who can do cool graphics or awesome art, I’ve decided to do some short fiction writing for every donation I receive.

HRT Fund

Hello my name is Kristen, I’m 17, and I am a MTF transgender woman. I recently came out, and my parents are very proud of me, much to my surprise. They are more than willing to let me transition, and they are looking for a gender therapist right now. We are very tight on money and their insurance does not cover any transgender related health care, so everything is coming out of pocket. I was just wondering if anyone would like to donate to my transition, so that I can pay for therapy, clothes, hormones, etc. I have a donation button on my page, and any amount will help. Thank you all so much, have a wonderful day!

TARLOV CYST AWARENESS

Tarlov Cyst Disease is a cyst that are fluid-filled sacs that most often affect nerve roots in the sacrum, the group of bones at the base of the spine. These cysts can compress nerve roots, causing lower back pain, sciatica (shock-like or burning pain in the lower back, buttocks, and down one leg to below the knee), urinary incontinence, headaches, sexual dysfunction, constipation, and some loss of feeling or control of movement in the leg and/or foot. Pressure on the nerves next to the cysts can also cause pain and deterioration of the surrounding bone. Tarlov cysts may become symptomatic following shock, trauma, or exertion that causes the buildup of cerebrospinal fluid. Women are at much higher risk of developing these cysts than are men. Hi guys :-) I need your help!

My friend Chessie just got kicked out of her house. She’s homeless right now. She doesn’t have anywhere else to go— I’m across the country so I can’t help her. It’s so scary and she literally only has $15 and she can’t find a job. I’m trying to get some money together to give her so she can at least eat, because at this point she doesn’t even have the means to do that.

Please donate even just a couple dollars to my Paypal so I can help Chessie. If you can’t, please reblog this so someone else might be able to. I need to help my friend :-(

(p.s. you have to manually reblog this as a text post or else it will show up as a link its annoying im sorry)

Okay I am about to leave McDonald’s and head back to our motorhome, so before I go, I’m making one final plea: PLEASE reblog the shit out of this. Even if you can’t contribute, and trust me I KNOW how difficult times are right now, PLEASE help me out with a signal boost. Don’t donate any money unless you can absolutely afford to, but if you can donate please feel free to send me an address (anon is fine) so my kids can send you a lovely card.

For those of you who don’t know the situation, my kids, myself, and my kids’ dad have been homeless for 2 months. We are currently living in a broken-down motorhome with no electricity and no plumbing. We use our truck to tow the motorhome to parking lot to parking lot when we get told to move on. The truck broke down Saturday, and without the truck, our motorhome is at risk of being impounded. Which would mean we’d be back to sleeping on the streets. All the truck needs is a new power-steering belt, installation, and a tow to a body shop that does belt installations.

I have been in remission from lupus and cancer since October, but since we’ve been homeless, I’ve been having arthritis flares. Getting the truck working is essential not only for the sake of our motorhome, but also so that I don’t have to walk to work. John and I own our own business, where we work 60 hours a week each. John also has a second job and is looking for a third. I have been looking for a second job fox six months and have an interview tomorrow. We don’t get any food stamps, childcare assistance, or housing assistance (duh on that last one).

Donations will be used to get our truck running, and if anything is left over, to get the electricity and plumbing in our motorhome sorted out. This would make a huge difference for my family— It’s not easy going 2 months without electricity or running water. Any help is appreciated, and if you can’t help, I completely understand but PLEASE help out with a reblog. Thank you so much!!!

PET NEEDS HELP

Hello all, my friend Mya could really use our help. She was in a car accident yesterday morning. Thankfully, she walked away with just a few scrapes but her dog, Bilbo was not so lucky. His left hind hip was crushed and he will need total hip replacement surgery to fully correct it. He’s already had his X-Rays and taken the pre-surgery screening to make sure he doesn’t have any infections or problems with his internal organs. Thankfully, things look good on that end. He is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning.

As you can imagine, this is a costly surgery. The cost being approximately $4,200. She has $1,200 in savings but that still leaves $3,000 to pay. I am able to chip in $500 but that isn’t quite enough. I know it’s a lot to ask of strangers but if there is even a small amount that you could chip in to help Bilbo, it would be hugely appreciated.

She still needs to raise $2,500 and if you’d like to help, you can donate to Bilbo’s hip fund through Pay Pal.

Now, a little about Bilbo. Okay, you all know that I am a cat person but I have to admit, this dog is pretty great! He’s a Mastiff. I think his breed is called Bullmastiff. (I’ll have to double check this because I know nothing of dog breeds) He just turned 2 years old and (ironically) he and his human were just coming back from his annual check up when they got into the accident.

If you can’t donate but would still like to help, please signal boost this post. Thank you so much.
