My name is Rachele Richards (a.k.a. Doc Rocket) pronounced “Rock-ell-lay” but colloquially called “Ray-chul”. I’m a native New Yorker from the north shore of Staten Island. I studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and completed a BA at CUNY hunter in visual arts. I currently work as a graphic artist and technical illustrator in TriBeCa.
Right now I’m in a transitory state with my website. I’ll be working through the year (2012) on developing a slick online portfolio of my work, but for now you can peep some recent stuff here: http://docrocket.tumblr.com/
This blog, Brionglóid is meant to be a relaxed, lackadaisical, place for me to blast “in the moment” thoughts, photos, and things that I like. It’s an escape from the pressure of having to be extra cautious of posting my best work or most sincere efforts. Artists need that sort of freedom.
As a rule, I do not reblog. The thoughts and sentiments here are my own, or collected by me personally.
So, come back often if you like what you see. Comment, reblog & share the things that you like.
