You are going to lay down you panties on the shirt towards the top. You are going to measure a two to three inch seam allowance. (if you are using spandex only make it one inch and a half allowance) Try to get this basic shape.
![]()
now cut it out.
![]()
now using only the top layer of the top of the shirt cut out two rectangles.Remove the pockets.

![]()
With right sides together pin one of these pieces to the sides of your main piece like so.
![]()
then on the other piece
![]()
With the pockets that you removed we are going to make those pieces into the crotch area.
![]()
make this shape
![]()
sew where the lines are and leave about and inch seam. now turn it inside out and fold the open ends in about half and inch.
it should look like this when you are done.

Sew this piece on the crotch area of your main piece. allow one inch seam.

you are now going to shape where the your legs goes.like so.
![]()
press your seams.

you are now going to add your elastic. Take your elastic and measure around your thighs make it a bit tight. Find the middle of your elastic and the side of your bottoms place a pin on them. This will help you distribute your elastic evenly. ALWAYS stretch your elastic while sewing and use a zig zag stitch.

this is what it should look like at this point.
![]()
looks like the belong to a giant but we are going to fix that next. Put your bottoms on inside out.

You are going to fold the side on the sides like so, and pin them down.

sew the triangle down from both sides. fold in an inch twice to make a clean waist line. (white lines)

you are now done with with your bottoms.

place this two pieces right side together and sew along the longer side. Once you’ve sewn these pieces together you are going to press you seam and add your elastic like this. Using a zig zag stitch and stretch the elastic.
![]()
this is what it should look like when you are done with it.
![]()
Now sew clean edges all around.
![]()
Using the back piece of the shirt cut out four pieces how ever thick you want them. at least three inches.
![]()
with the right sides together sew around the open edges leaving one open to turn it inside out. you should end up with something that looks like a long tube.
Sew two of the straps on the upper corners of your top. Now tie the top on. It will look a bit weird when you have it on but we will fix that next.
![]()
You are going to fold the two piece that are hanging down upwards like so. Youll be creating a triangle like we did on the bottoms. place pins where the dots are at. take it off and sew it down.

Easy wallpainting

People Always tend to think painting is such a tedious task…well it isnt especially now when simpler is nicer. So i’ll show you my method for wall paintings hopefully it makes it easier for you :)
I used some large 38”x25” sheets of paper i had laying around from when i did fashion design at school.
You’ll need:
paper/canvas/wood (watever it is you’re painting on)
acrylic paints
paint brushes (preferably 1 large 1 medium but i only had small -_-)
water
step 1:
find the focus of your painting…could be a flower, a wine glass, a sea shell whatever, i choose an outline of a lady for mine, remember it doesnt have to be too technical simple things can be just as effective.

Step 2:
cover your canvas with color…this part can be a bit time consuming especially if u have a small brush like i did, the trick to getting this done is using lots of water. Dip your brush in the water then in a bit of paint so the consistency is more like colored water than thick paint.

Step 3:
draw your focus on with a pencil, so u can erase if you need to, it doesn’t have to be perfect! after you’re done got over it with paint in a darker color

here comes the hardest part …*gasp* :O oh noess 0.0
Step 4:
on the outside of your focus, i.e. the background put little dots of paint (you can add different colors to this i just have thing for monochrome) then take your brush and run it throw them in random brush strokes… this gives it texture. You’ll have to do this all the way around your focus point and to the edges of your canvas.

not too bad right?
Step 5 :
Go over the outlines of your focus again with the darker colors making sure it stands out, then keep outlining going inwards with different shades or different colors depending on your color scheme, this gives your focus point depth.

like so ^ if the paint seems to stiff n the lines arent smooth add a little water
and woote!!!

your done!!! ^_^
How to: ALOE VERA (the plant) for softer hair, better skin, and longer lashes!
I did a quick search on Aloe Vera and it can be used for almost anything, from A- literally Z! From acne to upset stomachs, rashes and burns to insect bites, and there are actually 250 different types! I heard that aloe vera (mixed with other ingredients can help with cancer, or brain tumors but I don’t know how accurate or truthful these are) but these plants have been used all over the world for thousand of years.
There is no scent, it’s not as greasy nor slimy as you may think. It feels amazing and so refreshing on your face or skin. Since it’s a natural product, you know there are no harmful chemicals nor natural enhancers.
Remember, this is not a miracle product where you see the results right away, but over a week or so you should see and feel results for all 3!
(1) Cut a piece of aloe vera to the length and size you desire ( if there is extra left over, you can always store it in the fridge to use the next day)
(2) Cut off the thorns and the “green” peels(?)

SOFTER & HEALTHIER SKIN
(3) Use the gel side and apply it to your face in circular motion for a minute it or so. I’m not exactly sure when you can wash it off, anytime I suppose, but I let it sit for an hour or so, or even more. Since I work graveyard shift, I come home at 6 AM, I do this right after I brush my teeth and wash it when I leave for work at 5PM. IT FEELS GOOD! DO NOT RINSE IT OFF RIGHT AWAY, LEAVE IT ON & relax or nap.

SOFTER, SLEEKER, MORE MANAGEABLE HAIR
You can choose to use the same piece (after cutting off the top of the part you just used for the face) or use another piece, but don’t waste too much! =)
(4) Just apply it all over your hair, from the roots to the ends while massaging the strands. I have long and coarse hair, so I might need the whole garden =)

LONGER EYE LASHES
(5) Cut off two small pieces and lay them on top of your eyes and relax, best laying down napping =) For me, doing this helps my under eye circles as well. (Make sure they don’t slide off)

Enjoy your nap =)
DIY - Segurando a alça do soutien

Pronto!

Gostaram? Eu achei super útil e simples! ;)
DIY Wedding Bubbles In A Jar

Add colorful twine (spotted via londontierney to wrap around the top of the mason jar.

You’ll need a flower adornment to add a punch of color! We LOVE these by Jennifer Locke Designs…

Of course, you’ll need skeleton keys as bubble wands, so we hand-selected a few favorites to get you started. If you use skeleton keys with a heart shape (below), the result will be heart-shaped bubbles.

Finally, we wouldn’t be your handmade wedding resource without telling you how to make homemade bubbles! Just add 1/2 cup of dishwashing liquid (Dawn or Joy), 2 cups of water and 2 teaspoons of sugar. Mix the solution and add to jars. Easy!

For extra fun, add food coloring to the mix for more brilliant bubbles.
