List of animals with fraudulent diplomas

Henrietta

Ben Goldacre, a UK-based doctor and science journalist, wrote in 2004 of obtaining a diploma in nutrition from the American Association of Nutritional Consultants for his cat, Henrietta, while investigating allegations about the qualifications claimed by Gillian McKeith.[9][10] Although the cat has since died, Goldacre claims to have kept the certificate on display in a toilet.

My brain is filled with so much knowledge,

I don’t think I’ve ever studied so much in my life as I have for my upcoming diplomas. I’m going to do amazing. I don’t know where this drive or determination is coming from, but I hope it doesn’t disappear any time soon. It’ll take me far places.

Things Not Learned At School 48: Diplomas are mostly useless. Real knowledge comes through experience.

Im hella stressed right now. PLEASE dont make it worse than it is

1.) Social diploma tmrw 2.) This chick is inviting herself into my limo for grad 3.) Drama drama drama 4.) Waiting for a text from someone 5.) Not being able to sleepover at my bestie’s. 6.) Fighting with your parents about how you ask them to go out, they say no. And when they see me lying down on the couch, they say “why dont you go out with your friends?”. -.-” i cant seem to find the logic in that… 7.) And right after, them telling you that you have to work. Like, they’ve been yelling at me to study hardcore until diplomas are done. And now that im done, i really think i deserve a break from school. Ugh, like they yell at me when i get below 85. And when i get 100s, all they say is “good job”. Really?

So, what is it that you guys do at Britelynx?

Increase Performance through Qualification, Assignment and Team Management

Actually, for a long time, it was a tough one to answer shortly, believe it or not!

We, the Britelynx management team, had so many ideas about how we wanted to help people with our software solution, we just lacked “THE” idea that would make everything so easy to do and so easy to explain. Finding the sweet spot is more an art than a science…

Well, business is like everything else we’ve learned as military officers: teams learn to define themselves truly only on the battlefield. The bad news is that the battlefield is an ever changing place that one must adapt quickly to in order to survive.

So, at the dawn of 2012, we know that we are doomed to adapt, or pivot, continually.
In fact, any business, no matter its size, is in the same boat as we are. We all saw what happened to GM and let’s see what 2012 will bring to RIM…

What do we do then? Do we prepare for the worst and expect the best?

Somehow, yes. Especially the “we prepare for the worst” part.
How do we do that?

Experience on the field showed us many times that the following things must be part of a good preparation:

- Everyone involved must be well trained for his job, so call it good training;
- Teams first, individuals second. We’ll call this good team preparation as opposed to individual training;
- The right equipment for the job and knowing how to use it when it’s time to do so.

We summarize all that by a tagline we find easier to remember:
“Train as you fight and fight as you train.”

That is exactly what we will offer our customers and their teams. We will provide them with the right tools so they can “train as they fight and fight as they train”, no matter what shape their battlefield takes!

Stand by for more in 2012…

Home for Christmas ♥

Finals FINALLY finished yesterday. Such a glorious feeling. When I was in high school and finished exams, my dad would always say to me “Nothing but atmospheric pressure on you now!” I never truely understood the feeling that described until I got to university. Finishing exams makes me want to laugh and dance now. Diploma exams in high school seemed tough? You thought you studied for those? Haha! You haven’t studied until you’ve studied for university finals, five of them, all at once. And yet I know that if my dreams of med school come true, I’ll laugh thinking back on December 2011 me. (Although it’s my sincere hope that NOTHING will ever be worse than my physics final).

But I digress. The main point of this post was to emphasis how happy I am to be back home with my family, just in time for Christmas to really come! I’m exhausted and can’t wait to sleep and read classics (finally finish Persuasion! and read some F Scott Fitzgerald short stories - how I love them) and eat Chrismas baking and drive again! instead of taking public transit all the time. Mmmmmhmmm, I’m so looking forward to this glorious break.
