Gynandromorphs

I can’t believe I studied zoology for 3 years and never came across gynandromorphs! It was by following some intelligent people on Tumblr that I saw these strange looking insects and birds that were bilaterally half male half female. They showed female phenotypic traits down one side of their bodies and male traits down the other!
