Retreat was amazing.

I really have no words to accurately describe how powerful this retreat was for me, but I guess I’m going to have to try anyway.

I love all of you FECSGV-ers. I love how we bonded over this retreat, how we laughed together, ate together, played together, cried together, and prayed together. I love how all of us, even our boys, got ALLERGIES, and couldn’t help but cry when everyone shared their testimonies. I love how everyone was so raw and honest and vulnerable, and I love how we comforted each other and hugged it out. I love my girls, I love my boys, and I love how our small group totally bonded and how we’re all super tight and can trust each other. I love how CIA really is a family now.

I love all of you FEC-ers from every single one of our sister churches. I love you quiet people who ran away when I tried to say hi. I love you loud and obnoxious people who seem rude, but are actually sweethearts on the inside. I love you crazy people who are willing to be wacky with me, and I love all of you who were open and friendly with me. I love you all, my brothers and sisters in Christ.

I’m still struggling with you Lord, but I thank you so much for all of the wonderful people that you’ve put in my life. I thank you for this amazing experience, and I’m going to strive to live courageously and to confront my fears, regrets, shame, and past hurt for I know that you go with me. You will never leave me nor forsake me.
