I suppose it’s the wrong time of year for the mood of this song, but it’s too pretty not to listen to. It beckons a promise of warmer weather & longer days.
Stop by Anytime

Stop by anytime,
I’ve got the bookshelves loaded,
And the backyard is green and blooming.
Stop by anytime,
Let the humidity curl your hair
And the mulberries stain your toes.
If you could come around, I could show you down
To where the knots of the day untie.
So stop by, stop by anytime.
What I'm Used To

Busy Busy Busy!
So we’ve just about recovered from our back to back run of rehearsals and gigs last week, but we had to get on here and give a MASSIVE shoutout to Ghostpoet, Tawiah and Devon Sproule for two great nights of musical merriment! (We hope to do it all again very soon!)
Alas, there is no rest for us as we have 3 more dates to take us to the end of what has been a very eventful 2012! We shall be playing a little set at the launch of “Nightlights” at The Lucky Pig Cocktail Bar on the 30th October (founded by our very own Miss Paula Steele!), collaborating with Little Annie and Baby Dee at Islington Assembly Hall on the 10th of November and we have been invited back to sing a couple of Christmas ditties at Bush Hall’s annual Christmas concert on the 2nd December.
Make sure you check out our Live Section for more info. (It just doesn’t stop!)
Catch you at a gig!

Listen
I want an overhaul for my guitar,
A clawfoot tub and a shiny car.
I want piles of fruit and a fully stocked bar.
Money for a flight out west,
I want cute shoes and a vintage dress,
New houses for all my relatives.
I want to land in a tugging hand:
A youthful bed with a youthful plan.
I want to wait and take my time,
All my time, to keep my silver shined.
