NujabesNujabes - Aruarian Dance
This song brings back fond memories. I vividly remember two years ago at the very beginning of summer break (about 3 months after Nujabes died)…I’m laying on top of a lush green hill, next to a beautiful lady friend of mine. Both of us are peacefully watching the soft summer clouds float by while smoking on a few kush joints….and I had this amazing song playing in background on my computer. I must have had on repeat for at least an hour…it set the mood so beautifully. Definitely one of the most peaceful moments of my entire life. Thank you Nujabes for making it happen, may you rest in beats. Aruarian Dance is off of the OST album Samurai Champloo Music Record: Departure.

Departure
Cold wind was blowing in the girl’s face as she followed Elias. Her hair grew slightly longer since the first day she saw him, her body was covered with several layers of fur to keep her warm. They traveled a long way from Romania to get to demigod’s home. Elias was hunting every time she felt cold or hungry that much that bread wasn’t enough. A couple of pices of meat were packed in their bags.
Elias was keeping eye on his companion since she got burned, trying to spare her problems. It wasn’t working often though. Girl was the source of his problems on the way, but also someone he got used to and enjoyed talking with. Same was the other way around. Her escape became her friend, someone she admired for how protective he was, how understanding, though many times he should have left her behind.
“How far is your village?”, girl asked, following him slowly. It was cold, and after so many days of walking she could not feel her feet.
