I get on the bus tomorrow for New Jersey, and on Thursday, around 11:30am, I will finally meet Jess when she picks me up from the bus stop.
Jess and I became friends through tumblr. I can barely even remember how it began, but we just clicked right away. Talking for hours on the phone, crazy text messages, 6 hour skype fests, she is the only person I’m so open with. She is the ying to my yang. We are similar, to a point, and then our differences, I think, keep us tied together.
I don’t know what I would do without Jess. She is the person I am closest to in the whole world. Like, I am closer to her than I was with my family. She’s kept my grounded through all the issues I’ve had, gets mad for me when I want to wrap myself up in a blanket and cry, she is just a rock.
Here’s how us meeting in real life for the first time is going to go. I’m going to cry, and she’s going to say “Oh shut up you big baby.” If we were the Winchesters, I’d be Sam (tall and emotional) and she’d be Dean (shorter, ready to fuck shit up)
In fact, the only think that sucks about our friendship is that I live in Chicago and she hangs in New Jersey. But once this court case is settled, I plan on packing up my bags and moving out there. Caesars has casinos in Atlantic City I can transfer to. =D
She is so smart, and so loyal, I can’t wait to hang out with her and see all that passion in person.
