Dean's Lullaby

I’ll do this better later (once again, one take, but I have to leave and wanted to get this out there before I forgot how it went). Anyways, I was humming a tune in the car on my way home today and it turned into this little headcanon:

This is a simple lullaby that Mary would sing to Dean when he was a little boy who was afraid of the dark. Years from now he still hums it before falling asleep.

Son, don’t cry, it’s all okay

There’s nothing for you to fear

The angel’s watching over you, 

He listens while you pray

The dark is not a scary place, 

It’s the same as it was in the light

Just smile and know that you are safe, 

Your faith will make it bright
