This is a middle finger
to college fees, to student loans,
to the sharks that trap people in
while losing their homes, this is
a middle finger to the government,
for the cycle it’s created and the way
our students are stuck relying on it to
pay for an education, to pay for a
future that should be a given, this is a
middle finger to the system, for having to
go along with the rules and regulations
that are irrational just to prove a point,

this is a middle finger, I am standing
for every person who has not been
able to pay a debt or live a life 
free of stress and worry because 
of the way we have built this country—

This is a middle finger to your 
“equal” system, America, this is an
attempt to make you question your
own institution, this is a call for change.
