Hands down, this is one of my favorite songs of all time. My dear friend told me the other day that some of her friends don’t know who David Gray is. So I thought…for those poor souls out there who that applies to, I better tend to my civic duties and post some David Gray. He has one of my favorite voices ever, and this song just automatically hits home. Absolutely love it. And hey…aint nothin’ wrong with these lyrics, either!

David Gray is my relationship with my dad. do not criticize his songs or say other peoples versions are better. you will burn.
we’d listen to the cassette, yes cassette, in the car going places me him and my sister. back when you could be happy at the park, you’re only care was what tea was going to be, what time you’d go home and if you could swing any higher.
