We’re just one month away from the start of the 2013 season, and you would not believe how hard our skaters have been training. Folks are working with personal trainers, some are going to kettle ball classes and boot camps, and last week I saw Your Mom pulling a car around the parking lot by a rope between her teeth. On Saturday, VelociSlaptHer and Botti Slam will take things a step too far and will swim in the Long Island Sound for the West Haven Icy Plunge for the Cure. These ladies are dedicated.
Our first game will be 2/23 at the CT Sports Center in Woodbridge. The DC All-Stars (Division I) are coming up to challenge the Stepford Sabotage, and the Queen City Cherry Bombs will face off against the Yankee Brutals. There will be PBR beer, cupcakes, and probably a few beatings.
