Television Coverage of the White House Correspondents' Dinner - APRIL 27, 2013

C-SPAN’s coverage included celebrity arrivals, the awards presentations, scholarships, and the after dinner speeches. Coverage begins about 6:30 Eastern and will run until about 11:15 pm.

MSNBC will be carrying dinner coverage on Saturday, beginning about 9:30 pm.

New Documentary Explores Library of Congress

The production about the Library of Congress debuts Monday night. It follow’s C-SPAN’s similar documentaries about the Capitol, the White House and the Supreme Court.

The documentary will feature some of the library’s rarely seen holdings. They include documents from Lewis and Clark’s journeys, a map drawn by George Washington and personal artifacts from President Abraham Lincoln. It will also look at how the library has used technology to reveal an unknown change to the Declaration of Independence.
