Hello people who follow me and actually care what I post! This message is for you.
I am about to go on vacation (I’m leaving July 1st) for like a week. So I’m gonna be on hiatus I guess. But I will have wifi so I may get on occasionally. It’s like this convention thing so I’m kind of on a schedule but not all the time. It’s in Denver, Colorado though so I am gonna be looking at mountains and riding horses and getting attacked by bears. Fun! Anyway, I will set up a queue I guess though I don’t see the point since most of my followers follow the people I follow so they will see what it’s in the queue before I post it. Or something. whatever. I just want to say I love you all like family(okay more than that) and will miss you so much while I’m in Denver!
So I might have an internship as a social media assistant
I would run blogs and pages and streams and talk to people
Basically I would do what I do all the time anyways and get professional experience (and potentially money?) from it and I’m really excited
It may not work out, so don’t get excited or anything, but if it goes well then I will actually have something pretty positive come out of this semester’s leave of absence from OSU
So I'm in the process of recording my first song.
I’m pretty excited about it. I like the pace of it. I like the lyrics I wrote. The key is where I feel most confident and still leeway to play with it as I see fit. I feel really good about it. Now I’m just waiting for my producer to shoot me his concepts.
Then I talk to my mom today. See, her and my dad went and saw this group play and were pretty good. Later, she ran into a mother of this guy I grew up with. She mentioned the concert and turns out the keyboard player is a close relative. She asked my mom if I was still involved in music and said here and there.
That brings us to today. Apparently she showed up at my mom’s front door and said the keyboard player wants to talk to me. “If he has the talent, he wants to talk with him and help him out a bit. Give him some information and contact numbers.” I’m not sure what to think, but hey it doesn’t hurt to get some info from someone involved with the business for so long. Could be my foot in the door.
Now let’s just hope I don’t jinx myself with this post.
